[/b] Nathaniel is blunt, unyielding, and uncompromising — he is the type of man who will argue a point to the death and will never take no for an answer. Argumentative and brutally honest, nate isn't really belligerent persay, he's just incredibly proud. He takes his job as a butler extremely seriously (to a point) and because of it, takes pride in playing the gentleman. Granted, just because he’s a servant does not mean he has to be subservient. His blunt nature makes it so that he’ll never be afraid to tell it like it is, even if that risks hurting someone’s feelings. He doesn’t believe in sugarcoating anything – the only way anyone can ever become better at anything in life is to hear the full truth, and nothing but the truth. Because of this, he doesn’t really believe in lies – he doesn’t see why anyone should ever be deceived. Nothing good can come from it, surely. He is a hard worker at his core – Nate is studious and athletic, has top grades and is skilled in lacrosse; a butler must be well-rounded after all, no?

✧ QUICK BIO; His past is a secret, kept hidden from most of his mates, mainly because it would do him no good to wander in old, dusty memories. Contrary to popular belief, Nathaniel does not come from a rich, wealthy family. He grew up in a broken home, surrounded by drugs, gangs, death – despair. He saw his older brother die to gang violence, he was shot in front of Nate’s eyes. His mother was not saint herself – her only love were flames and cold metal spoons, and Nate wondered, for a time, if he would ever escape this sickly place. His father, eventually, was able to get him out of that environment, but his father wasn’t clean of sin either, his father had also dabbled in gangs. You cannot just quit a gang, no, and the price Nate’s father paid for trying to leave was his life. Nate was eventually taken in by his grandfather, who decided it would be best for Nate to become a butler, if he could do nothing else. The chance was gratefully taken up, and Nate gave it his all – to give thanks to his grandfather, who gave him a second chance.[/style][/ul]
