If you will pull out of a topic due to being busy, be decent enough to end the thread/pull your character out of the thread so it can be moved to archives/continued without you.

[/li][li]As much as possible, keep everything in proper English. If you want your character to speak in a foreign language in dialogues, be decent enough to also put a translation for every word said in a different language.
