- History- Being a part of a multicultural family, Lani spent most of her younger years traveling around the world to get in touch with her heritage during the summers. Although she spent most of her childhood split in Maui and New York City between her divorced parents with her other siblings. Being passed off between her parents had made Lani rebellious during her high school years as she lived with her father in New York City. She hanged out with the wrong crowd and made mistakes like any normal teenager would do, which included getting drunk and pregnant at the age of nineteen. This shocking news had Lani doing a complete 180 as she tried to clean up her act, in hopes of becoming a good mother for this unborn child. Unfortunately she had a miscarriage and lost the unborn child. The event scarred the young Lani as she fell into a dark pit for a long while and distanced herself from family and friends. In doing so, she began to hitch-hike across the states, looking for random jobs for money, even selling her body several times.
Of two years of jumping from state from state, Lani was at a rundown diner where she met a fascinating man, who claimed to go by the name of Seamus Alastar O’Neil. For some odd reason, Seamus had offered Lani to come with him to travel the world and she half-heartily agreed. Yet, if she had rejected him, Lani might have well had been considered to be an empty shell. The pair traveled to different and exotic countries such as India and New Zealand for two years. The experience was an eye opener, as if Seamus had gave her a second chance at life. Back in the states, Seamus mysteriously disappeared, only leaving a note of gratitude and a guitar. But Lani didn’t take the departure hard and thought it was meant to be and continued on with her life with a new outlook on things. - habit- Lani has a bad habit of smoking, she’s trying to stop, but failing terribly
