This didn’t exclude Rachel, in fact, she often found herself baking, or on walks for the distraction, it gave her. Most often, the reason she needed one was because of her mother. If her mother was going through a rough part of her treatment then Rachel found herself antsy and in need of something else to do. Baking was fun and the treats afterwards were always a plus, though she would have to watch how many she ate so as not to worry her butler. Though she imagined he liked the sweets as well. Kazuho liked to cook as well so it gave them something to bond over.
After returning from the hospital from visiting her mother, she definitely felt the need for a distraction. Her mother had looked exhausted so Rachel hadn’t stayed there long, but now she was worried. She was much closer to her mother than her father, since he didn’t want her involved with his work, which he had stayed back in Italy for, Rachel would be at a loss if she lost her mother. As she walked back through the school she pulled out her cell phone to let Kazu know that she was back. Rach often let him stay behind when she went to see her mother, even if he insisted on going with her she had him stay behind, she didn’t want to bother him with it. She sent him a message saying that she was going to the cooking classroom if he would like to meet her there.
Once inside the classroom, supplied with everything she would need to make sugar cookies, or other yummy sweets, she tied an apron around her green dress and pulled her hair up into a ponytail. It was time to get to work. As she moved about she hummed softly to herself gathering everything she would need, already she was beginning to unwind from the trip though she didn’t realize it. Rachel just found baking relaxing. She did listen for her butler, that way they could chat and she could relax even more. [/style] |

[/style][style=background-color: #d8cdca; width: 420px; height: 300px; padding: 5px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify;] Normally Kazu was never bored, but today was one of those days when the Lady he was serving, Rachel Beymont, went to visit her mother. She never allowed him to come, something that Kazu didn't mind too much, but he wouldn't mind going either. Today, he'd stayed and had attended to his various plants he kept around the dorm as he waited. Right now, he was heading toward the classrooms to see if there was anything he could find and offer his assistance with.
He felt his suit's pocket vibrate and it scared him to where he lost his step and tripped over his own two feet. Falling forwards, Kazu pushed out his hands to catch his fall, but he still managed to hit his head on the floor and hissed in pain as his forehead throbbed. No one who knew him in the slightest, knew Kazu was a klutz. Getting up, Kazu held his forehead with a wince. Once his forehead felt like it wasn't going to explode, he reached into his pocket and grabbed his phone to see who had messaged him. Seeing that Rachel had messaged him that she was back from the city, Kazu smiled brightly and got up and dusted himself off. So, his Lady was in the cooking classroom? Well, maybe he could cook up some treats himself. Cooking was a good hobby of his, well... actually he was a cooking snob. One thing he couldn't stand was bad cooking, or cooking with no personality. Shaking his head, Kazu scolded himself for getting distracted and daydreaming again.
As he walked Kazu gingerly touched the bruise that was forming on his head. Maybe he would just go ahead and grab a ice pack from the fridge they had in there. Yes, that would do, then he'd see if he could assist Lady Rachel. He would not do anything to screw up today, that, he was determined! Upon arriving at the classroom Kazu walked up to Rachel and bowed slightly with a bright smile.
"Good day, Miss Rachel! How are you today?" Kazu asked as he put on a smile. He grabbed a ice pack from the fridge and placed it on his forehead lightly and gave a sigh of relief. He looked over and saw that Rachel was making cookies. He smirked and watched her with a smile, his forehead still hurt but it was better now as he felt the pain dull due to the cold.
"Just, remember not to eat too many." Kazu said with slight chuckle. There was a reason he loved cooking, it had the ability to do so much for people. It could give happiness to the people eating it, and making it. For Kazu, he enjoyed just watching someone cook.

She knew he was a klutz even more so than she was but the injuries still worried her. “Ouch did I cause that?” She remembered that she had sent him a text message and maybe that had startled him. Smiling softly she put her fingers to the ice pack. “We need to be more careful.” She was going for a lighthearted joke and hoped it worked.
Turning back to her cookies at the mention of them she laughed softly. “I won’t I promise.” She was rolling out the dough now so she could cut it. Putting some flour onto the counter she brushed a piece of hair out of her face leaving a nice smudge of flour on her cheek. Then remembering he had greeted her she turned and smiled at him. “Oh and good day Kazu, I’m good now that you are here, how are you?” Obviously, he was in a pain but he seemed happy anyways. Looking in a drawer, she found a flower shaped cookie cutter and chose that one for her cookies.
After they were all on the cookie sheet and in the oven she turned again to Kazuho. “Want to help me frost them?” She smiled hoping he would though she had picked a rather girlie cookie cutter. She started to gather all the things she had used to put into the washer and clean the counter as well. She may be a Lady but she wasn’t going to leave a mess. “And you may have to hide them later so I don’t eat them all in one sitting.” She joked and laughed lightly, she was definitely feeling better now that she had some company and was doing something fun. “Did you want to make something as well?” Since she knew he liked to cook, and she did like to eat what he made.

[/style][style=background-color: #d8cdca; width: 420px; height: 300px; padding: 5px; overflow: auto; text-align: justify;] When Kazuho asked if she had caused the bump on his head, he quickly shook his head and waved his hands in front of him. "Oh, no no no! Never. It was just my own clumsiness. Not paying attention and all that!" Kazu said rubbing the back of his red hair. Kazu put the ice pack back since his forehead was now numb and Tylonol would suffix to ease the pain if it came back. Kazu chuckled when he heard Rachel's joke.
"Yes, I probably should. Well, I learn new things everyday and get closer to being a more experienced Butler! Well, kind off.." Kazu said with another nervous chuckle. Looking around, Kazu tried to think of something to say. It wasn't Rachel's fault his phone had buzzed obnoxiously and scared the hell out of him. He couldn't let her think that! He heard her talk again and paid strict attention. Determined not to make any more mistakes, although he said that every time and still made mistakes. He shook his head when he noticed he was dazing off again. Stupid bad habit.
"Oh! I'm fine. I just wandered around trying to be of assistance." Kazu said with a bright smile. Not that many staff or students asked for a Class A butler but still. Kazu went back to watching Rachel roll the dough for, what looked like sugar cookies. Upon being asked if he would like to frost the flower shaped cookies Kazuho nodded enthusiastically. He had a craving for pie and thought maybe he'd bake one for Rachel as a surprise. She liked his cooking! That was one thing the two always had bonded over, one thing that Kazu had been grateful for. A food snob like him probably wouldn't be able to stand being a butler for a bad cook.
Kazu started to get the ingrediants for frosting and mix them in a nice clean blue bowl the classroom had stocked. Once the mixture was done Kazu saw that Rachel had begun cleaning up.
"I could've cleaned up, Miss Rachel." Kazu said with a sympathetic smile. Setting the mixture aside Kazu went to wash his hands like he did nearly twenty thousand times a day. He was a neat freak, but that came with the job, did it not? When Rachel joked that Kazu might have to ration the cookies he only nodded and laughed.
"Just like what Mom did when we were little, I'll put them in the cookie jar." Kazu said. Not that his birth mother ever baked cookies... Shaking his head Kazu took Rachel's advice and cooked something. He'd go ahead and make that pie.
"Alright, would you like a cup of tea while we cook, Madam?" Kazu said with a wink as he began to get ingrediants out for peach pie. Unfortueately Kazu didn't have fresh ingridiants so he'd just have to do with canned goods. Taking off his coat, Kazu grabbed a apron and got to work humming a random tune in his head.
