If only there was some kind of manual to teach the girl how to be a zombie then maybe she would be just like everyone else. She didn’t know the other girls well enough, but that was the sort of vibe she was getting from this academy. Maybe it was wiser to give the school a chance and to be quick to judge, but the young lady didn’t want to spend another second on this island. It felt like a prison and she hated it to the core. Charley originally wanted to go to a public school with her friends, but her parents insisted that this was a perfect choice for someone like her. After all, this is where mother went and so on and so forth. It was like a family tradition amongst the women which Charley was sure to break in the future.
Flipping through the pages slowly in the book on her lap, the girl showed no shame in kicking her old dirty boots on the table. How ironic that she was reading Etiquette for Dummies as she did this. Probably one of the many reasons why she was in this academy. ”Honestly, they make eating sound so bloody complicated. I’m not going to wait for the host just because they want to be a doe and take their time.” Charley mumbled not wanting to get in any more trouble with the librarian than she already was. ”Well all I have to do is survive four years of this and prove to my dearest mum and dad that is in the solution to dealing with a problem.” She was aware that she wasn’t the best daughter, well, nothing like her eldest sister, Elisaveta, who did everything to please them even if it was for an alter motive. Act like a good little girl for a car? Charley would prefer to sell her soul to the devil.
